Works, assembly instructions could be better.

This has worked well to provide my own Wi-Fi on a college campus where the general Wi-Fi is often congested or has poor signal. Giving 1 star because it took some online research to figure out how to set it up, the instructions aren't entirely clear (you need to connect it via ethernet in client mode and then open the IP address in a web browser), but once I set it up, it only remains to connect and use. Since the two most common methods of using this device (providing a hotspot and converting Wi-Fi to Ethernet for devices that only have the latter) require configuration, it would be nice if it were a little easier to set up (e.g. via a USB cable). ). It would also be nice if it could be powered via PoE (Power over Ethernet), but that's a minor issue. It doesn't have a very long range, I can get a 2-way signal from a large class (there may be interference from other students' cell phone WiFi hotspots), but the data rate doesn't seem to suffer. I renamed the SSID to look like another cell phone hotspot so college IT wouldn't notice an unauthorized Wi-Fi connected to their wired network, but that's just paranoia on my part.
