Review on 🚐 Deluxe RV Wheel Cover by Classic Accessories - Fits Wheels with 27"-30" Diameter and 8.75" Tire Width - White by Matt Reid

I just bought new tires for my horse trailer (always priced at $500-700 or so) and bought them after reading rave reviews the same day. They arrived quickly and I was not disappointed! I had never bought tires before, so I didn't have anything comparable. I ordered these covers in 29" and they fit my set of 4 standard 225/75/15 trailer tires very well. It's very important to me. My previous set of trailer tires had never been sealed and although they lasted many years, they eventually showed signs of failure (cracks, dents, tire rot, etc.) before the tread wore out. Also, the climate here is very hot and dry and really took its toll on the old tyres.Since I chose higher quality/carrying capacity tires this time, I wanted to protect them!Quality: These covers are amazingly high quality and very soft I can still Can't vouch for their durability as I only put them on last night but I expect they will outlive the tires themselves. Permanently impregnated on the outside and the covers made of very soft material on the inside. I feel like ruining my tires. Use/Application: They are designed to cover your tires by slipping them over the wheels (elastic strap at the back around the wheel bearings) and tying with a rope at the back. (See 3rd photo) This process was too labor intensive, no zipper or velcro or anything; I had to climb to the ground and throw ropes under the trailer to reach it. This can be too annoying when I need to get my trailer out quickly, so I might resort to tightening the ropes and just trusting the elasticity of my back to stay in place. Unless there is a strong wind or storm I still don't understand why they went off in the first place. Maybe for long-term storage? Then, of course, tie those suction cups. Overall I am very happy with this purchase and for less than $40 I can get years more of my investment. These covers were very high quality and as I said I feel like I'm ruining the rubber tires.
