My Ethernet cable from my router to my modem is old and shows signs of wear. From the quality test we can see that the jitter is often up to 10 ms. So I've been looking for the latest and greatest CAT8 cable that seems to fit the job. I received 2 packs and they were plain plastic with a zip closure. I'm immediately impressed by the quality of the gold-plated LAN ports. The cable itself is very strong and heavy, you can easily see that this cable has very good shielding. Shielding is very important to protect against electronic interference. I was able to switch cables in seconds and didn't even have to reboot my router or modem. I immediately ran a speed test and found that the jitter is only 1ms, which is close to fiber optic quality. I have 3 gaming PCs at home and we've been playing games together and haven't experienced any lag or crashes like we used to. Overall I have nothing to complain about with this cable. It looks very high quality and feels very durable. Highly recommended.
