Review on Canon EOS 5D Mark II Body Camera by Aneta Budziska ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The ratio of price and quality is very pleasing, I will repeat the purchase.

My previous cameras were a film Zenith and two Canon digital SLRs, the 300D and the 30D. I am fairly new to the world of photography. It just so happened that I traveled to the same city at the same period for a number of consecutive years in a succession (Shanghai, September-November). A year ago, it was considered hip to wear a Nikon around one's neck; but, these days, posters featuring Jackie Chan, who promotes the "five" from Canon, can be found just about anywhere. Now Canon is cool there, and the 5Dmark2 is even cooler than that. There, it is put to use by trained experts (I saw several photo shoots on the streets). Images captured by various cameras appear to be as dissimilar to one another as the sun and the moon. The five creates images that are vivid, clear, crisp, and juicy (with the same lenses). The photographs taken by the Thirty look as though they were taken around the turn of the previous century. It makes me feel like I'm gazing at pictures of my grandmother. And there is just no humor in this at all. The camera is not inexpensive, and when coupled with the correct lenses, it is simply pricey; yet, owning one offers a great deal of pleasure. Although I spend three to five months each year traveling outside the country, the camera has more than paid for itself; however, it would be a joke to recommend it to everyone (I paid 296 thousand for my kit, which consisted just of a camera and three lenses). Nevertheless, you must purchase other items that are connected. You can safely add another hundred or one and a half thousand if all of the additional accessories (waterproof cases, lens bags, backpacks, tripods, heads, flashes, care products, filters, flash drives, batteries, all different kinds of belts, etc.) are of the proper quality. Although the camera is fantastic on its own, you should remember to factor in the additional expenses of accessories when purchasing it. It is possible for you to spend that amount of money, and doing so is strongly recommended. I hope that the remaining amateur photographers will not give up hope since life is full of unexpected twists and turns, and in just a few short years, dreams can become a reality.

Pros
  • For the course of his five-month business trip, he did not once recall the necessity of conducting an outbreak. Even handheld nighttime photographs taken from the ship come out remarkably clear and sharp. The viewing angles have grown much more expansive. You can take pictures with a regular "fifty kopeck" lens just like you would with a wide-angle lens. The sensations are out of this world, but you're going to need some nice glasses. My go-to "automatic" is the 50L/1.2, which isn't cheap but offers a wide range of customization options and is of exceptionally excellent quality.
Cons
  • Heavy for travel. The racist policy of the company (absolutely serviceable matrices are sold only on the local market, but we are sold culling) . It's true that this is something that each and every Japanese company that makes photographic equipment does.
