A good purchase for my purposes, for washing dishes, so a normal one is enough. PRO: * Softer after soaking than the thicker, more expensive loofah I bought which is still hard and chewy after soaking for days! Cannot be used for dishes - too hard. *They are all 12 inches, I cut off 2-3 inches for dishwashing. * It only takes a tiny drop of dish soap for lots of suds, and it's so easy to rinse off that it doesn't start smelling like sponges. CONS: As stated in the product description, * requires several seeds to be removed. * are available in different widths. Everyone says they will last a very long time and I am happy with the purchase. The first picture shows the seeds. The second shows a washcloth after soaking (maybe they added some bleach?)
