Is this really handmade? I don't know exactly but the woven material looks beautiful and is durable enough to add a touch of elegance to your room. Didn't really try to remove the wrinkles but I don't think it would be impossible, maybe just a little work. Worst case I'll probably soak it and toss it in the dryer, that should help. My only big problem are the handles. It is positioned as leather but some descriptions say it is faux leather (polyurethane is actually not real). It all looks tasteless because of the grips, it's just clearly polyurethane (as in "stinky", sorry for the pun). Jokes aside, the handles look really bad and my good idea of throwing it in the dryer might just melt the handles or something. I was very close to giving an extra star for those awful grips, but the grips don't make the basket, they just detract from it. I will definitely replace them with natural leather or something more convincing. If you don't need to do the extra work of swapping out the handles, then yes, this basket is really good and well worth it.
