I don't know why they lie that he is German. To me, this huge trust issue already tells me what kind of person the seller is, dishonest. I bought this amp based on the good reviews so I think they won anyway. But there it is, the amp sounds good, not much noise when there is no sound, if any. Really better than the PAM8403 I had and exploded in 5 minutes (think I shorted it out, well that sucks). Stop talking nonsense and just admit that this is a Chinese amp, because it really is a decent quality amp and you don't have to be ashamed of the country of origin. Soldering is acceptable, but as others have pointed out, it looks like hand soldering, not necessarily bad. All connections are good but a few PCB components like one of the connectors are set a little crooked but it will be in my RPI case so I wasn't worried. All in all it's worth it for me. I just hope the replacement that comes out on Saturday has all the damn screws. (I understand that small screws can easily get lost, but how do you fix them with a missing screw?)
