Remove radio to install properly

I just fitted the protector. I've already pulled the dashboard and radio out of the truck while I was working on other electronics. Can't comment on the touchscreen functionality or the look of the screen yet, but it fits perfectly and gives the screen an HD look. Looks original. Here's how I did it: I'm not going to tell you how to remove the dash and radio on my 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee, but it's easy. No tools are required to remove the bezel, but an ordinary plastic interior trim tool can be useful. The radio itself attaches with just 4 x 7mm screws and then you simply disconnect the main wiring harness and 4 or 5 other connections depending on how your radio is set up.1. Clean the radio screen exactly as directed by placing it on a flat, stable surface.2. Check again and again whether there is dust or fluff on the screen. Dust stickers are very important to use as the last step.3. Place the glass protector on a mirror or very smooth surface like a granite countertop and press the adhesive on the back onto the surface.4. Insert the suction cup in the center of the tread. This is now your mount when you remove the adhesive backing (very slowly and carefully) and also serves to center it on the radio screen.5. Hold the radio centered with the suction cup and your other hand's finger on the edge of the guard for stability and extra guidance. DO NOT touch the adhesive side of the protective film after removing the backing. Once aligned, simply "drop" the tread and you'll see it stick. You will see small bubbles but that is not a problem. I had a large one where the suction cup sucked onto the tread. Don't worry.6. Patiently and gently, take the flat edge of the credit card and push it outwards from the center to remove any air bubbles. The big one I had in place of the suction cup in the middle gave me the most trouble, but after about 5 minutes I pushed it to the edge of the tread and was out.7. You can also use a hair dryer to heat the protector while doing this process to help, although I didn't have to use it. **Update** I installed the radio and touch feature and the screen sharpness is excellent. No deterioration.
