This is a nice thick high quality pet hammock. Mounted gear is nice and looks good but depending on where you plan to put it or where you intend to put it you need to be sure you are ready to hang it and by that I mean you have the necessary and proper ones have equipment. Unless you keep your pet in a cage, which I really hope so. You need to buy additional hardware to hang it on a wall or window. Do not use regular screws. This was a bit more of a concern than I expected as I care about the safety of my pets. The canopy feels solid and you'll think your pet is safe since it only weighs 7 pounds. But remember, we're talking about a semi-domestic cat. Yes, I told the audience. Let's face it, they are their own bosses. You get what we like to call "crazy". Although it can weigh seven pounds, remember that they can generate up to 100 pounds of pressure when pushing off something. It is easy to remove the fuse in the hammock you have hung. Invest a few dollars and buy some wall anchors. Or make sure you hang it on studs in the wall. The material is pretty cool because it's reversible and pet-friendly. In winter I can use the flat side to keep them warm while they sit by the cold window. In the warmer months they can use the fluffy side with a pillowcase or similar to keep them fresh and not so warm. hang it up I have no legal issues other than having to purchase additional hardware. It may be just me, but I do care about the safety of my pets.
