I did not buy it from Amazon. I bought 2 packs of these. 25 feet and 16 feet. The exact same band is sold locally for $5 for in-store pickup. Yes, $5 for 2 cassettes. There must be a reason for this. I spent 8 years building houses and watching countless tapes before I got smart and retired from the business. This tape is suitable for home use. I don't like lock tapes because I want everything to be smooth and fast. But it's there and the lock works as it should. My biggest problem, and it's a big problem, is the hook at the end of the tape catching on wood, metal, or whatever you're measuring. We called it the blunt end of your band. When you pick up the hook with your fingers, it's a bit short and moves up making it difficult to get a good grip to pull the band. Very annoying to grab it 2-3 times. It's good again at home. For the price I got what it's worth. Definitely not worth the asking price.
