Review on ChunHee Dog Doorbell: Waterproof Dog Door Bells for Potty Training & Clear Communication by Amy Thompson

Revainrating 4 out of 5

The dog hasn't figured it out yet

I potted my dog with real bells, screwed a quill to the wall and attached the fishing bells to the end and he bent over so quickly that when he needed something he just rang the bell. I have since moved and got this as a replacement for the wind chimes. I like that it's loud (you can control the volume) and you can choose the sound you want. The goal is to put one outside as well so she can call instead of having to jump through the door to get in. I tried to make her understand that she has to press this button now and it will ring if she wants to get out. and she didn't understand. She is a smart dog and learned the original bells in one day! I've been trying this for 2 weeks. I don't know if she's struggling because it's different and I just need to go back to the spring bells, or maybe she didn't associate the sound with the button as the sound is coming from something else. Because of the tones, I docked a star. There's a TON of tones but a simple ding-dong and it repeats twice. All other tones are musical rendition. I just want a quick, easy call.
