Review on 📊 YEAPOOK ADS1013D Oscilloscope: Enhanced Bandwidth and Detailed Waveform Analysis by Manuel Gfx

First of all I have been using o-scopes for almost 50 years. I needed an oscilloscope to replace several high impedance test instruments. This one didn't work at all. Connected the probe to channel 1 and the calibration point, clicked on the autoset icon, got a curve that didn't contain the full waveform, tried to adjust the time base but to no avail. From then on it went downhill. Sometimes the voltage is shown on the y-axis instead of the x-axis, but this doesn't work. Aside from the device being defective, the instruction manual is written in Pidgin English and requires an electron microscope to read the writing. After hours of squinting at the instruction manual and checking YouTube, I realized it was hopeless. I'll look for the true scope. I cannot recommend this device. Addendum: As I grabbed the scope to return to Revain, it dawned on me that there is one setting I haven't changed: Menu > System Settings > XY Mode Display. This was not documented in the manual. It was on". I turned it off. The calibration square wave appears. Automatic installation completed correctly. It came like this from Amazon. I leave it to the area to calibrate my old transceivers.
