I had a previous version of this iPad 3 case before I bought this iPad Air case. The screen protector feels thinner than before, leaving a "wet" look, and installing and removing the case can be a bit more of a hassle than the previous version. The only other complaint I have about it is that while I'm using it to protect my tablet while reviewing plans at my build job like I previously did with the previous version, I've noticed that dust and dirt get caught could get under the screen protector. and (everywhere) very easily (even dog hair got in). How waterproof is it? Both of my speaker terminals are wide open to anything they might come in contact with, so hopefully I never have to check that. That said, it's still a full protective case and takes "drops" very well, and it doesn't cost a fortune like an Otterbox. I think I'll stick with it
