This is a great little stroller seat for our 9lb Shih Tzu... Until recently she has always been great for car travel as she has now matured and become stronger very worried when he is traveling by car! It took my husband about 2 minutes to install it in the back of our SUV and so far she has done it amazing we even put one of her blankets in and so far she has plenty of room and now stays quiet when traveling. I sit in the back with her when she goes anywhere with us, we have seat belts and we use a short strap in the seat which is great for keeping her tucked in! I will say though, maybe because she's small, as she got up and circled in the seat a few times with the seat belt wrapped around her neck, even though ours was the shortest length and clipped into the seat belts on her back. , so your pet must be visible during use! But I can only recommend it and would buy it again!
