Review on DEWALLIE Rubber Engraver Engraving Machine by Kristen Reid

I used a Genmitsu 3018pro with a 5.5w laser. Settings: speed = 200, power = 95% and 4 passes. It was too much as it actually burned a hole in one corner. Then I changed it to 400 for 90% and 2 passes. This gave me almost usable results, but the fine details were messed up. I think I'll go with 300 at 90% and 1 pass to see whether the details are preserved and whether the engraving is deep enough. I suggest using a table fan to blow off the ash and bits of gum that have burned (and covered the sheet). A more powerful laser would likely make this engraving faster and more detailed. However, rubber foil is very suitable for the production of stamps.
