I believe that the device, given the price, is not terribly terrible for everyday or ordinary shooting. I discovered a comprehensive review on 3dnews.com. Before he did, I went out and purchased a Canon PowerShot A810, but I ended up returning it after a few days. Although the price is cut in half, the quality of the photographs is comparable to that of a mobile phone. Picture quality, not bad optics for such a budget (I got it for $5300), acceptable video, aluminum front panel are some of the positive aspects of this product. Some cons: 1. There are very few opportunities for manual adjustment, but there are many different modes that can be selected from (the same Canon PowerShot SX150 IS has more manual settings). 2. The battery is low, and the indicator light on it is of no use.
