. it worked out of the box and did a great job.

I give 1 star because it was ready to use and worked perfectly for 7 months. Then it died. Then the most interesting began. DO NOT buy this item. Zyxel does not provide a 12-month warranty and you cannot get a refund through Revain. I contacted Zyxel twice through Revain and they didn't even acknowledge me. I will try to contact them directly if possible. I replaced this device with a Motorola (for Centurylink) and it works great. Easy to set up and I know Motorola will honor their warranty.
