I suffer from severe hay fever and dust allergies, especially in the warmer months. I already have a few large air purifiers in my bedroom and living room; I bought this to keep in our guest room/home office where I spend most of the day working from home. It's not the smallest air purifier, but it's perfect for the size of the room. Despite the size, it is incredibly light! I've found it helps trap allergens and large dust particles and eliminates odors. Controlling the air purifier is simple and straightforward with the buttons on the top. There aren't many configurable options, and most importantly, there's no timer setting so it can be turned on and off manually, but I'm totally fine with that. On the L setting it's very quiet, more like white noise, so leaving it on at night should be fine. I've been using it about 8 hours a day for several days now and I know it's working since I saw dirt build up on the filter! The air also feels fresher and cooler, which is a sign that the air purifier is doing its job. You'll need to keep doors and windows closed for the cleaner to be effective on everyone, so keep that in mind. I hope the filter will last at least a few months.
