great pre-filter for kitchen and bathroom fittings
we bought these for our aquasana whole house filter. I always suspected our city water was bad, but I had no idea how bad it was until I started using it in our system. We changed them once a month and watched them go from pure white to the nastiest brown imaginable in 30 days. Wow. Our water is cleaner, there are no particles floating around, the smell of chlorine is gone and the water is really softer.
