Fair quality straw and fabric - thick but smooth and flexible. The sizing is excellent - the size and fit are as described. The edge of the brim is sewn with wire, so you can adjust the position of the hat. My only complaint is that it comes folded so there are four permanent dents all over the hat that don't seem to straighten out. Because of this, it doesn't fit very well. I'm not sure if that's why I'm going to wear it. Otherwise it would be perfect. The seller may consider sending the hat unfolded.
