I find it hard to have a universal cordless vacuum cleaner. What I've seen with other brands, including older Shark models, is that there's always a trade-off between features, weight, and battery life. When you make a handheld vacuum, it gets heavier. If you take it easy, the dust box might be too small or the battery life might be mediocre. Shark Rocket Pet Pro is no different. The strengths of the Shark Rocket Pet Pro cordless vacuum cleaner are battery power and weight. The suction power is excellent and the battery lasts about 40 minutes (enough for a small apartment). It's lightweight, swivels, and also has a front LED headlight. Unlike some competitors (many vacuums), the Shark uses a HEPA filter. This particular model also uses a rubber brush roller instead of the regular brush head, which Shark has described as 'self-cleaning'. The brush's rubber roller prevents hair from getting tangled in the brush. This works pretty well as I didn't really have to manually clean the area. Also, the Shark seemed pretty confident about "self-cleaning" as it doesn't even have a brush-cleaning door. The Shark Rocket Pet Pro also comes with a pair of standard attachments. Tool for slots and brushes. If you're familiar with Shark vacuums (such as the DuoClean models), here are a few features that aren't present on the Rocket Pet Pro but are found on other models. It doesn't have the secondary brushroll you might be familiar with, which helps with hardwood floors (soft on the front). It doesn't stand up on its own. There is also no wall mount included. There is no storage space for attachments on the back, nor can they be attached to the vacuum cleaner itself. Pros: - Excellent suction power - Relatively light - High maneuverability - LED headlight - Large dust bin and HEPA filter - Total run time on a single charge is around 40 minutes Cons: - No wall mount - No storage space for accessories
