The instructions for pairing a sensor with a hub shows a round sensor with a button to pair the sensor. This is not a sensor that comes with this product. To connect the square sensor to the hub you need to insert the rounded pin into the small hole next to the charging connector on the sensor (see pictures). Otherwise, the sensor will not pair with the hub. It was very easy to set up the hub and connect it to my router. The sensors are fairly accurate for temperature and humidity. The sensor updates with temperature or humidity changes, or every ten minutes, whichever comes first. If you need real-time temperature then this product may not be for you, but if you just want to know what the temperature is at any given time then this is the product for you. There are maximum and minimum temperature and humidity alarms that will alert you instantly when limits are exceeded and let you know when the temperature returns to the range you set. If the instructions accompanying the product or app were better, the score would be higher.
