I bought it back in August 2014. I had no problem using it with my Pioneer DDJ-SR in the Odyssey Flight Zone case. I usually remove the Glide Style Platform from the body and use it instead. Love how it brings your MBP closer to you instead of pushing it back. However, lately I have noticed that my MBP leaned forward a bit when it was on the crane stand. I took my Mac off the stand and tried to tighten the bottom nut. To do this, I had to slide the stand out a bit from under my Odyssey case. When I loosened the latch a bit, the top of the stand fell forward and landed on my new Pioneer DDJ-SX2-R controller, scratching the beautiful red trim and silver jog ring! From time to time you need to tighten it. If you do this outside of your devices and don't keep your Mac/Laptop on a stand!
