Review on Spikeball Playing Kit with Drawstring Ball by Carlito Tardy

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Extremely inconvenient, can not enjoy.

Extremely impractical, not usable. Videos about how much fun it is are extremely misleading. If you actually try this, you will suddenly find that the net is not stable, that is, moves when the ball hits, and little elastic, although it is pulled very hard on the edge, not elastic enough even with a good ball filling. What's really bad is the concept, since the active part of the net is much smaller than the rim size - the ball doesn't bounce well if hit close to the rim, even if it misses the rim itself, etc., you have to have one hit a small area in the middle of the mesh if you don't want the edge to affect the hit. It was a gift for our boys so I hesitated to return it hoping they would still like it but when it's clear they can't understand it's too late to return it. I don't know what genius really smartly sold this thing as it looks attractive until you actually try to play it and its cost of production should be a lot lower than the price as everything is very cheaply made - the edge is a slight bent plastic tube, bullets are also very primitive.
