Review on TrickleStar 7 Outlet Advanced 💡 PowerStrip: Enhanced Protection, 1080 Joules, 3ft Cord by Keith Morris

There are many extension cords that can take power from one or two outlets, which are then used to control other outlets. The beauty of this is that you can choose the sensitivity of the socket it uses to determine if something is on to control other sockets. I have a fridge in my garage and it can be difficult to keep cool in the summer and like so many others. Fridge or freezer without fans on coils outside; it relies exclusively on passive cooling. With this extension I can run a small fan on the back of the fridge and it will only come on when the compressor is running. With the default sensitivity setting (and with other similar strips), simply opening the door and turning on the light turns on the fan. With this strip I was able to set the sensitivity to low/less sensitive so you could open the door and the fan wouldn't turn on - it just turns on with the compressor, which is what I really want. Using a fan greatly reduces the run time of the fridge which saves me money on electricity and should help it run a lot longer! Highly recommended.
