Review on 👜 Stylish Versatility: Vera Bradley Cotton Utility Small Crossbody Purse for On-the-Go Convenience by Joey Pritchard

I have been a huge fan of Vera Bradley for over a decade and have owned several prints from different years. This new "Love Stripe" is my favorite VB print and such a fun, unique addition to the line! I've always liked "picturesque" stripes. And in a rainbow? fainting. I screamed with joy when I saw that. Soothe my dolphin baby Lisa Frank heart from the 1990s! (And the lining: It's pale yellow with iridescent daisies! Oh, holy faith, I died and went to heaven.) Let's talk about the benefits. As usual with VB, this bag is made from durable, washable cotton and is packed with pockets. • Zippered main compartment is incredibly spacious. It can hold a large wallet, a small water bottle, and a paperback—or tablet/e-reader. It actually fits my iPad 8 perfectly. This main compartment also has two slip pockets and a zip pocket on the back for lip gloss and other small items. • The front of the bag also has two additional patch pockets with pleats. One is completely open at the top (perhaps suitable for keys?), the other has a magnetic flap (perhaps suitable for a phone?). My iPhone 11 with Popsocket fits very well in these two front pockets. The zippers slide easily and are not tight. I find the shoulder strap comfortable and doesn't cut into my shoulder. The strap's nylon material is smooth and well-made, and thankfully doesn't snag on my clothing (we've all had pockets that do, ugh!). I want to talk briefly about color theory. I really wish VB had chosen a different/more appropriate blue color for the zippers, handles, straps and buckles. In its current form, this outfit is an industrial shade of slate blue (hue + grey) that is totally out of the ordinary with the Love Stripe print as it is composed of light tones and shades. The ribbon should be a cobalt, royal, or sky blue color that will color-match the print much better. Despite this color variation, this is still a great bag that I absolutely love. Thank you WB!
