Review on Reese 66559 Steadi-Flex Trunnion Weight-Distributing Hitch Kit: Enhance Towing Stability with 10,000 lb. Capacity by Brandon Plowden

First of all the packaging was terrible, there were bits sticking out of the box on both ends. A minimum of gluing and the shipper will be sent in the factory box. Should have been double boxed or at least taped better considering the weight. Luckily the hardware package was still in the box but ended up falling out through a hole. If the packaging was better I would give 5 stars. I haven't connected the device yet, so I don't have an opinion on the performance. The workmanship is good, all accessories are included. Installation is easy. The only downside to my old chain system is that the weight tension cannot be adjusted on the fly. The voltage depends on the installation. With my old system, I could adjust the tension by increasing or decreasing the number of chain links. I hadn't had sway control before, so I'm hoping this works as described.
