Seems like a good case for the money but time will tell. It snaps into place well, but I doubt the outer shell will stay in place. It adds a bit of bulk to the mini, but that's okay with me. It gives you something to hold on to. There are small "ears" on the sleeve that need to be plugged in. The corner of a credit card will cope with this task. If everything is tight, everything seems to be fine. It's a nice three piece design, just like the more expensive models. It doesn't include a plastic screen protector, which is fine with me. You can use the protective glass without any problems. If the soft case doesn't stretch over time, then this is a solid case!
