Bought size 11-12 for my 8 year old. He wears a medium/size 8 in youth clothing. Reading the suggestion in the info and looking at tons of reviews helped me choose the best size. The pants fit perfectly in length, the waist is a bit large but the drawstring works. The material of the top and pants is thinner than expected. My advice: look for reviews with kids around your height or go up a size than you plan so you won't be disappointed if it arrives too small.
