I would give 4.5 stars if I could. High and mid frequencies are airy, clear and lively. Below you could use Acceleration but I moved it closer to the wall to compensate. I use it to listen to music while on the treadmill, and while it's more than enough volume for me, people who like the "neighbors can hear" sound won't want to buy this unit. I should note that I don't use the bluetooth feature (I use an iPod with it) so I don't know how well the bluetooth works. Overall, it sounds just as good as my JBL Radial, which I paid significantly more for.
