I had the original 6 x 6 Kensington Trackball Billiards Billiard Ball - IT WAS AMAZING! They had 2 mouse buttons for your FINGERS - EXACTLY WHERE THEY SHOULD BE! I often use the laptop on the recliner chair and use CAD software that I regularly have to zoom in and out on. I was convinced that a TRACKBALL would solve all my zoom in/out problems. but I was BIG WRONG. This trackball's odd scroll ring (only works on PART of the ring around the ball) - along with the THUMB enabled buttons, now requires the following to zoom in with my CAD software: HOLD Ctrl - press with left hand and ROLL your right hand finger while holding your left THUMB on the mouse button. Yes - to the right. OR. I could just reach for my laptop's TOUCH SCREEN and PUSH/OFF with two fingers. Guess which direction I'm going? Yes, touch screen. Guess what I'm doing with this brutally UN-intuitive trackball? Yes - RETURNS. Instantly. Total waste of 2 hours trackball search and 2 days waiting time. #disillusionedinNorthAuroraIL-Mark Vogt
