We used them when we went on holiday with our 2.5 year old son. We rented a cottage with a very high double bed, although our son is used to a low cot. They were a good height and kept him from rolling out of bed! The material on the bottom was nice and grippy so they didn't move at all when we put them under the sheets. Unfortunately, the pump was completely useless. The hose would not stay in the bumper valve even when I held them tightly together while pumping. Eventually I gave up and pumped them up with my mouth, which was MUCH faster. It didn't take long so no problem.
