Don't make the same mistake I did. I first bought a tempered glass screen protector for the top screen. The problem is that when the 2DSXL is closed there is very little space between the top screen and the buttons on the bottom half of the system. As a result, the tempered glass protection prevents the console from closing completely and creates multiple stress points on the top screen. Therefore, a tempered glass screen protector increases the risk of damaging the top screen to some extent. These screen protectors are very good. The matte finish looks great and makes smudges and fingerprints less noticeable. Touch inputs register with ease, glare is reduced (but not eliminated) and I can close the console completely to protect it. My only complaint is that the top screen protector is quite difficult to install and the product doesn't come with alcohol wipes to clean the screens before installation.
