This has to be the softest thing ever unfortunately it was too big. I bought the XL based on the weight range given in the description. But I didn't measure. My Shorky weighs 11 pounds. The large only went up to 9 pounds so I figured the XL wouldn't be a problem. It smelled so I washed it but didn't dry it. He swam in it. It went past his lower areas so I figured we'd use it before bed. Unfortunately, he managed to get his paws in his hand holes and got stuck. I'll dry it and see if it shrinks. If not, I'll donate. I already bought a large size because it's so soft and I think it will keep him warm.
