Leaves scratches

I read a few reviews before I bought it and I saw that a lot of people had trouble scratching the laptop lid. After prolonged use, I can confirm that this is indeed the case. Luckily I have a protective film though, so what gets scratched isn't the monitor itself. I love its slim design and I'm willing to scratch the tread. Without the defender, however, it certainly wouldn't be worth it.
