New favorite. Good balance of edge retention, corrosion resistance, sharpenability and durability. Batons are large with 1/4 staff. Work well with refractory steel. The Kydex sheath has a snug fit with a thumb tear. I changed the belt loop but can't complain for the price. (replaced by the Workouty brand found on Revain 2 for $10). I like the weight and feel of this knife, but be mindful of the weight when going as light as possible. It's a little rough, but works like a $150 knife. For starters, my old favorite knife is the Mora Robusto.
