Bought for our child as our husband was sent to Afghanistan so she could see his face and hear his voice. recognize him when he comes home. Looks like we bought it from a dollar store (a dollar store would probably be better quality). The plastic photo cover is attached to cheap cardstock pages with sticky glue, making it difficult to insert pictures as they stick to the sticky glue. His voice doesn't even come through for the first few pages, then the last few pages come out in a different order than he wrote them down. Half the time the recording starts playing (you never know what) and then stops, especially at the slightest movement of the sides. Came with a scratched box and photo album. The ONLY positive thing I can say about it is that it DOES work AT ALL, so at least she can hear his voice. If we had time to bring it back to get another one of better quality in here for him to overwrite before deployment, we would do it in no time. Hoping he doesn't fail completely and die before the year is out. DO NOT BUY THIS!
