I just finished the installation, it was very easy. We had copper pipes coming from the ceiling under the sink which is not compatible. After a quick trip to the store and a $5 flexible hose, the installation was complete in about 15 minutes. It's just on the cold line at our wet bar and I drink from it 6-8 16 ounce glasses a day, fill up a 12 cup coffee pot a few times a week and a few ice buckets. Allow the system to run for 5 minutes before first use. Take this time to precisely adjust the check valve pressure to EXACTLY match what may be coming out of the nozzle. Excessive pressure in the system eventually leads to breakdowns and possible leaks! DO NOT TURN YOUR VALVE TO WHERE THE MAXIMUM FLOW PRESSURE IS! After getting fed up with faulty faucet filters and leaking fridge filters (the last of which leaked behind the fridge, went into the basement and ruined the antique cabinet), this device solved all of our problems in our bar. Note that installing it on your kitchen sink will drastically reduce the lifespan of your filters. It is not intended for washing dishes, but for drinking water, filling pots and ice cube trays, etc. UPDATE: Used for over 1 year with no problems. Just order a second replacement filter, but the original still works, although the pressure is gradually reduced. Your mileage will depend on your local water and how often it is used. According to my Reader Zero Water, our water only comes out at .80, so to me it's worth the price.
