Every autumn we pick lots of apples to make applesauce, apple dumplings and dried apple chips. I bought this punch this year. It worked great. I like the easy removal of the core from the ring when it's done thanks to the open design over the cutting ring. You simply push the core back down through the ring. The handle is very strong and wide enough to have a good grip even with wet and sticky hands. This made it much easier to core the apples. The lime green color of the handle was an added bonus for me! It works great and costs a lot less than most other drilling products.
