There is some confusion as to whether this part will fit Ecotec 2.0T engines (Cobalt SS, Pontiac gxp, Saturn Sky Turbo). Short answer: YES. But remember you need TWO different part numbers. One for inlet and one for outlet. Other 917-016. To check the condition of the part (or your old one) beforehand, measure the resistance between the two terminals. You should get something around 11-13 ohms. And higher or lower and it starts to fail. If you get a high voltage ECU code, it means the resistance at the terminals is too low. Low voltage is the opposite. These codes sometimes trigger earlier than P0013 Solenoid DTCs. Both inactive parts tested 11.4 ohms straight out of the box for reference.
