The rods are well made and look good. The right side went through with no problems. The left side was almost an inch short. I wrapped the bar in a towel and used a jack to spread the bar apart. I was very lucky because my first attempt was successful. If it wasn't right the first time, I probably had to keep pushing the bar slowly until I hit my target or went too far. Luckily this didn't happen. If you have hands, you have the right tools, maybe you'll be fine. Just note that the left side doesn't fit out of the box.
