When this item arrived the lid of the case that the watch was in was SEPARATE from the bottom of that case. I was concerned that this watch might be damaged as usually watches or other items of this type have a piece of cling film or tape around the top/bottom of the case. but so far the watch is fine. I love the alarm clock, I use it daily to take my meds every 12 hours. I also like the backlight as I often wake up at night and it really helps. For this money I am satisfied. I now have 2 of these watches, one pink and one blue. Although they look sporty, I wear them all the time. I work in the medical field and they do whatever I need. great buy for $$
