This product is ideal for privacy. I ordered Frosted Pure (although my shopping cart says Frosted White). I only hung it on the bottom half of the kitchen, study and bathroom windows because I wanted to see outside. Even at night with the lights on, looking inside only reveals blurry patches on the outside. It still lets light through, but cuts off some of the light. The film is a little tricky to put on if you've never done it before. Make sure you thoroughly wet the area you are covering with the vinyl fixing solution (I used Gila Window Fixing Solution). A credit card works best to remove any bubbles. My windows have been taped for 2 months now and the film has not moved, peeled or blistered. I bought this as a temporary solution until I decide what to do in place of the blinds, but I think I'll make it a permanent solution. I ordered a few more to do my bedroom windows.
