Antique Chandelier Restoration Company Recommendation

Love it! We deal with the restoration of antique chandeliers. We recently received several thousand vintage crystals that were the dirtiest in 40 years. They've been covered in kitchen grease, cigarette smoke, mold, and latex paint for decades. They were taken from old moldy kitchen utensils. The renovation company thought the lamps should be thrown in the trash and painted the rooms with the spray lights still hanging. So we looked for a chemical solution that wasn't a highly toxic, expensive solvent. We mixed a test batch of this product in hot water. At normal dilution the difference was noticeable. That alone was stunning. However, when we mixed it with 4x the normal dilution, all the dirt evaporated in a few hours. Now they look like new! And we still have 80% of the Alconox container left. This is extremely economical. No smoke! We are very impressed.

Pros
  • Concentrated anionic detergent with protease enzyme; used for manual and ultrasonic cleaning
Cons
  • Power socket required
