I am updating a bad review I gave this product before understanding the science behind this product. First this is not a dehumidifier it is a moisture absorption device that sucks moisture out of the air and into small silica pebbles that then after the beads swell to capacity you have to remove the device and plug it in, at which time it will passively heat itself up and dry the silica out, then u can place it back in its desired place to repeat the process.The seller contacted me immediately about my bad review to rectify the situation promptly although it was my fault for not paying attention to what I was buying.
