Great little tool for the kitchen. Attach it to the jar, press the button and return to the open jar. It looks like a honey bee doing a wiggling dance when you open the jar. Two AA batteries (not included) will last a long time in a non-commercial kitchen. The downside is the shape. It's a pointed design that tends to "splash" out of your hand when slippery with oil or other slippery substances (there's no way this situation would happen in a kitchen. Deliberate sarcasm).
