Just before the pandemic hit and we started working from home, I bought a Plantronics headset. Unfortunately I didn't have a phone at home to use it so it's been in the box for a year. I came across this adapter and now I can use the headset with my laptop. It's been great for many of the conference calls I've been on. I used to use a studio mic with a USB mixer, but sometimes the speakers would connect to the mic causing echoes. I was also tied to my desk. Now I can walk around the house, make coffee, let the dog in/out, etc. However, the sound doesn't seem to be working in the backyard. :-P
