It wasn't what I expected at all. The tree is just a thin sheet of vinyl with no support, so putting things on top of the cubes isn't easy as they need to be lit. The whole unit is flimsy, the connectors often fall off, and some of the shelves don't even fully snap into place because they're 80% shorter. It took me several hours to put everything together because as soon as one connector worked, the other fell off. I've had mine for 3 weeks now, the 2 'wooden' frames are already warped and I don't have any heavy stuff on them, I bought them for my children's books but once we had them together I realized that it wouldn't work so we put light toys on it, the price would be great if they weren't so cheaply made. If they were better made I would love them but poor quality takes precedence over beauty.
