Bought to shave legs, armpits and bikini area. I liked the idea of being more eco-friendly and also saving money as the blades for this type of razor are very cheap. PROS: - The razor is as beautiful in real life as it is in the product photos - The razor is heavy, feels sturdy and "expensive" - Blades are easy to replace - Fewer cuts - As said, replacement blades are cheap CONS: - Offers not as close a shave as a standard razor. Not terrible, just not as good - This razor takes longer to shave (I have to go over the same areas several times) - Although I have fewer scratches and cuts overall, the ones I do get are usually a lot worse than with a regular one razor. Be VERY careful when shaving along the bones of the lower leg, knees and near the bones that protrude on both ankle sizes. - It takes a bit of training, you don't hold it like a regular straight razor - You have to buy special bins to dispose of the blades after you're done with them. Overall I think the pros outweigh the cons, most of the time I will continue to use this razor because I can't stand how much standard razor blades cost.
