Review on Presto 85772 Turbo by Oscar Munoz

This item corresponds exactly to the manufacturer's description. This is the perfect replacement for those of us who don't read the instructions and use a wrench to tighten first when it comes time to hand tighten! I'm not sure if the actual stem that goes into the autoclave is plastic or a very soft metal, but it will snap if you overtighten it. I figured that since it's under pressure it needs to be pressed pretty well, but apparently I was wrong and realized this quickly. and we started canning beans from our garden. It worked as intended and the pressure in the can was great. My family has been using Presto pressurized cans for decades, so when I was looking for my own tin can to buy it wasn't a problem for me.
